ADULT TAP
(Absolute Beginner)

Tuesday 5.00pm-5.45pm

Our Adult Tap (Absolute Beginner) class is for absolute beginners, who do not have any prior tap dancing knowledge or experience.

 

Join with other first time tap dancers and have fun learning a new skill together!

In this class you will;

  • Learn basic skills and technique of tap dancing

  • Understand key tap vocabulary and terminology

  • Increase strength, balance, and coordination

  • Enhance cognitive abilities and mental focus

  • Improve your rhythm, timing and musicality​

What to bring;

  • Bring a water bottle

  • Wear comfortable activewear

  • Bring tap shoes (if you have them)

If you don't have tap shoes, you are welcome to wear any closed-in supportive shoes. However, if you are looking to take regular classes, we recommend that you purchase a pair of tap shoes.

Private Lessons

Private Lessons are highly recommended for any dancer wanting to improve their tap skills outside of our Studio Classes. Work one on one with our qualified DTLS instructors to elevate your confidence, refine your technique and enhance your dancing ability.

Tap Shoes

You are welcome to wear any comfortable, closed-in supportive shoes. However, if you are looking to take regular classes, we recommend that you purchase a pair of tap shoes.
