1. Is DTLS an adult studio?

Yes! Dancing Through Life Studios is an 18+ dance studio that caters to adults from all different dance backgrounds. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an advanced dancer - we are here to encourage, inspire and empower you on your dance journey.

2. Does DTLS offer children's classes?
​
Unfortunately not - we are a studio dedicated to adults only. They will have to wait until they are 18 to join in the fun!
​
​
3. What are DTLS HQ Office Hours?
​
DTLS HQ is open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. Please be mindful that the majority of our HQ Staff, also teach Studio Classes in the evenings. Any enquires sent after 5pm will be responded to the following work day.

4. Does DTLS offer free trials?
​
DTLS does not offer any free trials. If you are unsure which class to take - contact the studio to discuss which class is best for you.

5. How much are DTLS casual classes?
​
If you would like to book in for a one off class, our Studio Class costs are;

45 min class - $20.00 (+GST)

1 hr class - $22.50 (+GST)

6. How much are DTLS term bookings?
​
If you have booked with us for a term, you will receive priority booking for the following term, as well as discounted term rates;

45 min class x 10 week term - $175 (+GST) - $17.50 per class

1 hr class x 10 week term - $200 (+GST) - $15.00 per class

1x Term Booking (10 weeks)
45 min class - $250 ($25 per class)
1 hour class - $275 ($27.50 per class)

2x Term Booking (20 weeks)
45 min class - $350 ($18.75 per class)
1 hour class - $400 ($20 per class)

7. Cancellation Policy?
​
All purchases for Studio Classes, Private Lessons, Online Classes, Wedding Dances and Choreography Services are final and non-refundable. Dance Services cannot be shared, extended or transferred.

9. Does DTLS have classes on weekends and public holidays?
​
DTLS is closed on weekends and all Australian public holidays.
​
​
10. Can I join in half-way through a term?
​
Yes - of course you can! Each week of the term we focus on a different part of our routine. So you will not be behind if you join us halfway through, it just means you will be learning a different section of the routine.
​
​
11. Not sure about your dancing ability or level?
​

13. Where are our Studio Locations?
​

14. Can I park at the Studio Locations?
​
​
There are a few parking spots on site. If not there is free parking in the surrounding streets.
​
​
2hr parking spots at the St Ives Shopping Village are available.
15. What do I wear to my DTLS class?
​
We have DTLS merchandise that you are welcome to purchase, however this is not compulsory for our classes. Alternately you can wear any comfortable activewear/sports clothes.
​
​
16. Do you need tap/jazz shoes for beginner classes?
​
You are welcome to wear any comfortable, closed-in supportive shoes at our studio classes. However, if you are wanting to take regular classes, we recommend that you purchase a pair of dance shoes. Email us at info@dancingthroughlifestudios.com.au for assistance with your purchase.

17. What is there size of DTLS studio classes?
​
At DTLS we like to keep our classes on the smaller size, to ensure each dancer is receiving 1:1 feedback. Our tap classes are capped at 15 dancers and all other classes are capped at 20.
​

18. Does DTLS offer Private Lessons?
​
Yes! DTLS offers Private Lessons. Choose between any of our Studio Class dance styles; jazz, tap, theatre jazz, hip hop, dance fit and stretch.
​
19. Does DTLS offer Wedding Dance lessons?
​
Yes! DTLS offers wedding dance lessons to create a personalised routine to your special song for your first dance. We also offer group sessions to create a fun and memorable routine for you and your bridal party. Take your class at our studio or we can come to you!

20. Does DTLS offer Choreography Services?
​
Yes! DTLS offers choreography services for musicals, stage plays, and theatrical performances. Let us assist you, in bringing your vision to life!
