1. Is DTLS an adult studio?
Yes! Dancing Through Life Studios is an 18+ studio. We are passionate about providing adults with a variety of dance classes. No matter your dance background, level or ability - all adults are welcome!
2. Does DTLS offer children's classes?
Unfortunately not - we are a studio dedicated to adults only. They will have to wait until they are 18 to join in the fun!
3. How much are DTLS classes?
Our studio classes are;
45 min class - $17.50
1 hr class $20.00
4. Does DTLS offer causal classes?
All of our classes at DTLS are casual classes. At the start of each term our dancers are given the option to book in for a whole term (10 weeks). By booking in for the term it ensures your place in the class for the whole 10 weeks. If you do not want to book in for a whole term, you can book in casually week to week - depending on the availability of the class.
5. Can I join in half-way through a term?
Yes! During our 10 week term we focus on learning a routine in all of our classes. Our regular dancers who sign up for the whole term will have learnt a full routine by the end of the 10 weeks. However if you join in during the term, all that means is we will be learning a different section of the routine. So you won't be behind at all!
6. Does DTLS offer free trials?

7. Not sure about your dancing ability or level?

8. How do I book?

9. What if I need to cancel my class?
All purchases for DTLS studio classes, online classes, and private lessons are final and non-refundable. DTLS classes cannot be extended and cannot be shared. If for any reason you need to cancel your booking please contact the studio within 24hrs prior to your class and we can transfer your booking.
10. Do you need tap/jazz shoes for beginner classes?
You are welcome to wear any comfortable, closed-in supportive shoes at our studio classes. However, if you are wanting to take regular classes, we recommend that you purchase a pair of dance shoes. Email us at info@dancingthroughlifestudios.com.au for assistance with your purchase.
11. What do I wear to my DTLS class?
We have DTLS merchandise that you are welcome to purchase, however this is not compulsory for our classes. Alternately you can wear any comfortable activewear/sports clothes.
12. What is there size of DTLS studio classes?
At DTLS we like to keep our classes on the smaller size, to ensure each dancer is receiving 1:1 feedback. Our tap classes are capped at 10 dancers and all other classes are capped at 20.
13. Where is DTLS located?
Our studio is a short walk from either Waitara (approx. 6 mins) or Hornsby Stations (approx. 8 mins).
14. Is there parking onsite?
There are a few parking spots on site, if you get there early. If not there is free parking in the surrounding streets.
15. Does DTLS offer private lessons?
Yes! DTLS offers private lessons in jazz, tap, theatre jazz, hip hop, dance fit and stretch.
16. Does DTLS offer wedding dance lessons?
Yes! DTLS offers wedding dance lessons to create a personalised routine to your special song for your first dance. We also offer group sessions to create a fun and memorable routine for you and your bridal party. Take your class at our studio or we can come to you!
17. Does DTLS offer choreography services?
Yes! DTLS offers choreography services for musicals, stage plays, and theatrical performances. Let us assist you, in bringing your vision to life!

18. Does DTLS have classes on weekends and public holidays?
DTLS currently doesn't offer any classes on weekends and we are closed all public holidays.
